The name of the foreign limited partnership

• A name may be reserved prior to filing. A reservation fee of $25 must accompany the request. The reservation may be made at the Corporations Division web site, http://www.georgiacorporations.org. A number that remains in effect for 30 days will be provided by return e-mail within 24 hours of receipt of the request, and often sooner. Place the number on the Transmittal Form 246 that is filed with the certificate of limited partnership. A reservation number may also be obtained by writing to the Division at the above address. Please provide the name, address and telephone number of the person making the request. Reservations are not available by telephone. Filings are accepted without a name reservation.

NOTICE: Mail or deliver an original and one copy of this form and the filing fee of $225.00 payable to "Secretary of State" at the above address. Filing fes are NON-refundable.

This application is executed and sworn to by a general partner of the limited partnership. The limited partnership undertakes to keep its records at the address shown in #7 above until its registration in Georgia is canceled or withdrawn. The limited partnership, in accordance with Title 14 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, appoints the Secretary of State as agent for service of process if no agent has been appointed in Georgia or, if appointed, the agent’s authority has been revoked or the agent cannot be served or found by the exercise of reasonable diligence.
